jaws will speak in restrickted mode until it has seen proper authorization. 
after loading the program you usually are prompted to press inter to  start 
jaws for windows. then he should be asked for his three and one half floppy 
authorization.  jaws will then then see that he has proper authorization and 
things will be find.
