As mentioned in another message, don't use the CD-ROM that comes from an
ISP.  You may get something installed that you don't want.  One of my
clients used a CD-ROM that came from GTE.NET, and she got Internet Explorer
4.0 and the Active Desktop.  Needless to say, her computer didn't work very
well with her screen reader until I got rid of Active Desktop and installed
a version of the browser that would work with speech.
