Hi Bill, Actually, at least in Windows 98, I had unchecked Jaws in the start-up group with msconfig, and left run JFW checked in JFW options. But, when I rebooted, JFW did not come up talking, so I went back into MSconfig and allowed JFW back in the start-up group. Msconfig is a nice utility.
