Hi Ray, although I do not know the reason for the underlying problem, I
have found a band-aid solution which works for me. I had the same
experience every time I tried to go to a different url other than my home
page. Try pressing control-o and then the spacebar once. Then just type
www. etcetera. Hope this helps.
