I guess you could try it in default.jss and have it try to maximize all
apps' windows, but there would probably be areas where you don't want it to
try it. For example, it will try to maximize everything it focuses on,
which includes Buttons, EditBoxes, ListBoxes, etc. Once it sees there is no
Minimize Symbol, it'll exit the script, but it does get executed just to
check for the presence of that symbol, so that's yet another task you'll be
forcing JFW to execute every time the focus changes. To get an idea how
tedious that is, put the "Beep()" command in your FocusChangedEvent function
and listen to that puppy click every time the focus changes! Sounds like a
radiation detector in some apps!
You can set up a number of If/ElIf statements to have it not execute the
script when a particular class, or a particular type code is focused on, but
it'd probably just be more efficient to put it in the individual
application's script file. I would imagine if it could be placed in the
default.jss file's FocusChangedEvent function, HJ would've written one a
while ago!
Just follow the same setup steps you used for the original message, just be
in whatever application you want to install it on when you invoke the Script
Manager.
Maybe if I set it up as a toggle in default.jss...hmmm, something to play
with.
