Not necessarily, I tried that for Outlook Express, Internet Mail, Fedex
Ship, WebFerret, and a couple other apps and most of them come up as normal
window, regardless the shortcut setting.  You can try to do the same with
the actual exe file's properties, but there are areas where this isn't
possible--for example, take a look at the command line in the Internet Mail
shortcut and see what that uses for an executable name!
It is always best to try built-in methods before coming up with an alternate
means of performing a task, so I agree, try it in the shortcut or
executable's properties before adding this script to a particular script
file.
