I haven't been following this thread closely, but I believe it started with
someone wanting to know how to run scan disk with out sighted assistance.
Here is a fool proof method if you are running windows 95. I am not sure
about windows 98. Paste the following line into the autoexec.bat file in
the root directory.
SCANDISK /AUTOFIX /NOSUMMARY /NOSAVE
It makes the program run automatically with no questions every time you
boot the computer. It takes my p133 about 60 seconds longer to boot than
before, but I can live with that if I never have to get sighted assistance
to start the computer.
