Hi Randy,
I would recommend the Soundblaster Live over the 16-bit card, because it will allow
you to hear multiple sound streams. This
means that you will be able to utilize a software speech synthesizer like Eloquence or
DEC-Talk Access 32 while playing other
sounds, such as RealAudio streams.
