I developped a set of ISPF scripts intended to work under most terminal
emulator programs.
They have had varying success depending on the program used, and the
willingness of the user to get their hands a little dirty tweaking the
scripts.
The qualifiers for the scripts to have a chance are:
1. JFW must be able to track the mainframe cursor IE when you tab around
the screen, the PC cursor is where the system cursor is.
2. There must be a frame on the screen which gives the current line and
collumn position of the cursor which is updated with each tab press etc.
The scripts use this area to invoke a frame script to decide what is to be
said.
Because they are written for a "generic 3270 emulator" the installation is
not as straight forward as normal.
The scripts are available from the JFW mailing list home page, pick scripts
and configurations for JFW 3.0.83 then find on ISPF.
This file is zipped.
Unzip it, and read through the ISPF.TXT file which explain the installation.

3270 emulator programs can be frustrating to use with any screen reader.
