Insert-f5 Blues

Hi,
I just installed 3.3 this morning and was distressed to find that my system
locks up tight when I try to do a page reformat using  insert-f5 when
browsing with IE 5. This happens with the browseui scripts supplied with
JFW 3.3 as well as the old IE 5 beta scripts.  
Has anybody else run across this or is something kinky going on in my system?
