I think I solved the problem mentioned in my previous post. I had installed
JFW 3.3 earlier today and noticed that every time I was on a web page with
IE 5 and attempted a page reformat, the system appeared to crash.
Reformatting with insert-f5 works again and I'm a happy camper.
Being relatively new to IE 5, I didn't know about the Explorer bar. You can
turn on access to favorites, history, and a search feature in the Explorer
bar by going to the IE5 View menu and arrowing down to the Explorer Bar
submenu. In there are all the controls which it would appear that you can
toggle on or off.
Somehow I had the Search feature turned on, and doing away with that seems
to have corrected the insert-f5 problem.
Just thought some of you might like to know about this.
