Ditto! I really like the features, and what few snags there may be, I know
that most can be fixed with a bit of tweaking, and the rest are being
feverishly localized, dissected, and zapped, up and down the food chain at
HJ.
It seems like the majority of complaints are about the SMA...don't know much
about that touchy topic, so I'll leave that door shut and not look in
there!<g>
But on the functions in 3.3 being worth the upgrade...I'd still have to say
Yes! It seems a lot of people were sending heat rounds for JAWS "not having
functions that others have...", and now that they put some of those desires
in 3.3, they still get trashed! Damned if you do, and damned if you
don't...I'm glad they prefer to be "damned if you do!"
If it is the features not working the way you think they should, just save
yourself some heartburn and stick with 3.2 until a patch, or some other fix
is put out! Wouldn't that be better than beating your head against the
proverbial wall? And if it is the cost, or duration, of an SMA, why not
send nastigrams directly to someone in whatever department handles those
things!
As for me...I like it a lot...but then again, I also liked falling out of
perfectly good airplanes for several years!<grin>
Seriously, back up what works; download the 3.3; read the docs thoroughly;
install the update; and if you don't like it, uninstall 3.3 and restore your
backup, and happily use 3.2 until you feel HJ has fixed any problems that
caused you to go back to the backup! Tedious as all getout, but a proven
method for avoiding gastric distress!
