I'm using 3.3 in conjunction with American Printing House for the
Blind Listening to Windows CD-ROM to teach students Windows basics
and elementary JAWS. Listening to Windows (LTW) is a wonderful
program for learning how to use Windows. LTW has solved a major
problem in our lab. Up to now it has been difficult to teach blind
users Windows basics. LTW does the job beautifully.
The problem is using LTW's commands. LTW only uses the Fkeys, tab,
arrows, and Pause keys. Using the JAWS <insert><3> pass-through
command allows the Fkeys to work with only a slight hesitation.
Pushing the Pause/Break key is interpreted by JAWS as <control><num
lock>. The pass through command doesn't allow the Pause to work. I
can't figure out how to remap in JAWS the Pause key to send the
command Pause. Any ideas?
