Rose,

Prior to inserting the cd, hold down your left shift key, keep holding
it down while you close the cd drawer/tray, & keep it down for a little
bit after the cd drawer has been closed.  Once you let up, you can go
into Windows Explorer & look at your folders without running the
install.
