Hi,
I have developed a weird problem and need any suggestions. When I go to the
list view of windows explorer, when I arrow down to hear the choices, jaws
will not speak them but if I do a shift tab and then tab after I've arrowed
down, jaws will say the number of the choice I'm on but not the name so the
cursor is moving when I arrow. Also, when I go to windows explorer and
press a letter like p for program files, jaws will only say the letter and
not the name. I am using win98 and jaws 3.326. The arrows appear to be
working everywhere else. I have my folder options set to classic. I've not
had this problem before. I added new memory but I don't see why that would
change that. Other than that, the computer is acting normally. I've tried
rebooting, scan disc is okay and windoctor found no errors. I've also lined
up icons and used the tracking ball to see if moving the mouse pointer would
help but nothing is working.

Hi, depending on your settings in OE, here's what might be happening. If
you have the Preview paine open, JFW shows a bunch of messages at a time and
when you delete a message the next one is in focus. However, if you have
the preview paine disabled, if you have the message open in the normal
manner, when you press control-d the next message is still open. If you
don't want to read these, close the open messages to get a list, then you
can arrow through the messages you want, then press enter to hear it. Then
you can either keep the message open or close the message to once again get
a list of messages in your inbox.
