There's a program that runs in DOS mode that I want to use. I know
how to use my DOS screen reader with JAWS, that's not the problem.
The problem is, if I set JAWS to behave the way it should when I want
to use a DOS screen reader in a DOS session, I launch the DOS-mode
Windows program and I don't get any speech. Using the program in DOS
mode with JFW isn't really very workable without an awful lot of
special script-writing. FYI, the program in question is Z-tree, the
Windows version of the old standby, Xtree Gold that lots of us
probably remember from our good old DOS days. My question is, is it
possible to get my DOS screenreader to run when running a DOS-mode
Windows program, or am I really better off trying to develop scripts
for Z-Tree and leave it at that?
