HiDennis,
I had wondered if, perhaps, it was anything to do with the spacebar script
but couldn't quite remember when this was added. I had thought at one
stage of taking it out but didn't get any further in my thinking.
Anyway, thanks to your prompting, I have now removed the script and am
working without it, having re-loaded JAWS.
So far it looks OK and that this was the culprit. I am sure you'll find a
fix and look forward to your comments.
Oh, BTW: When I had removed the script, I then could not use the spacebar
as the documentation wasn't the same. I was offered the Spacebar docs and,
having highlighted this, pressed the appropriate button to remove the
documentation. However, after doing this about three times, still it
wouldn't work. I then checked my Keyboard Manager and found an entry for
Spacebar which I removed.
Would you have expected that this entry would have been removed
automatically when I carried out the above steps? I personally thought
that it would have worked.
