you might check the obu.jcf. look in the advanced options to see if jaws is
put to sleep. if it is in sleep mode uncheck this option and do a control S.
then do an alt F4. try it again.

Subject: Talking problem w/JFW
Hello Everyone!
I sure hope some one can help me. Here's my problem...
I have a pentium 2 350 computer that uses elequence, and Windows 95. The
programs I have are Open Book Ruby, I.E. 4.01 and Outlook Express, and
Quickens 98 Deluxe and at any time while running one of thes programs Jaws
3.3026 quits talking on me. I am unable to start it again unless I reboot
the computer from the beginning. Is there any way to correct this problem
without having to reboot? (Jaws has to be turned on manually when I turn the
computer on wuth the key combo "control alt. and J") Is there some setting
that I should look into haveing changed? I bought my computer in Feb. 99 and
have already had have a new hard drive. cd rom and sound card put in which
by doing this has not solved my problem. Is this a common occurrence when
running Jaws? It did also do this when I uhad Window Eyes installed which I
no longer have or use. Thanks again for all your help!
Christina
