The only thing that works is using the mouse movement keys
<shift-alt-ArrowKey>. Where "ArrowKey" is the key corresponding to the
desired direction. You still have to know where you are going. Sort of like
being in the middle of the Pacific in a kayak and trying to get to a
particular island, whose distance from you is unknown, on a cloudy day.
Drink plenty of fluids.

Not usually. Sometimes you can move around with the invisible cursor. You
would think that insert+r to restrict the cursor would free us up to move
around the screen or window, but it doesn't.
