Dear David,
You wrote some real nice scripts for MONEY, my friend!
Money works.
I had written various people who told me that i could go to the next
version--at this stage--3.3--and avoid the merge utility because I hadn't
altered 3.2 that much. fine with me. but I am raising the script question,
because I decided to wait for 3.3.1 with all its advantages since it is a
bigger leap in functions and is coming out in October. I am hoping that beta
testers will find your marvelous MONEY scripts and try them out in 3.3.1.
So what about the I C Q scripts? In other words, I am hoping that beta
testers out there--and thanks to all of them for past and future work--will
try out the I C Q scripts in 3.3.1 when it is tested. It seems that the
populations of JAWS users is split rather one should use the merge or should
just use the newest software (keeping a copy of the older one on the side)
WITHOUT MERGING. thus I am thinking ahead.
Although this may seem out of place, please remember that no one seemed to
find out that "RouteJAWS to PC" was messed up or absent in IE 5 during the
beta test. Now I really liked your MONEY scripts because I like the MONEY
program. It saved me a lot of money and time. So I hope that people who are
kind enough to help us by doing the beta testing will try scripts--some of
them "merging" and some of them not merging--so that answers are known. I
am sure that some one else could have said this better.
But I am hoping to avoid the ugly surprise that I encountered when I went
to I E 5--e.g.: "say good bye" to "routeJAWS to PC". what a shock. And i
want to continue to use your excellent MONEY 98 script and the I C Q script
no matter what new version of JAWS comes down the pike.

For those who can find MONEY 98, I simplified some of the functions (tech
support for MONEY is free and lifelong) and MONEY works fine for me.

have a fine day.
