I do know that if I'm in the Message list, and hit a wrong key a couple of
times, (such as the letter "t"), then everything hangs. I had my wife
eyeball the error and there was none--it just gave the message that "this
program is busy--would you like to wait, or end task?" It does it with JFW
and WindowEyes, but not with speech unloaded! Possible MSAA? It happens
with Eloquence and Doubletalk-PC. It is frustrating enough to make you go
Postal worker on someone!
Another interesting item is in Word9, Office2000 , when reading a
document line-by-line with the DownArrow, or with the SayAll function; after
30 or 40 pages, the system hangs with a "WinWord has caused an Illegal Page
Fault in module GDI.EXE." Again, it does it with either JFW3.3026 and
WindowEyes3.1, but not when speech isn't used!
The Outlook Express drives me nuts, but the WinWord2000 can wait until
JFW3.31 comes out with updated scripts to see if that might fix it--but I
doubt it will since WindowEyes has the same results. The only thing I can
think of in common is MSAA, but I don't know the list of files and libraries
each might use.
