Format Options Font Size, not quite right

Hi,

I suspect this is something I just missed somewhere but if I enable the
speak text formatting feature in the format options menu, it all works.
However, the font sizes are not correct and they are different in different
applications.

Before I go digging into the scripts, can you explain this?
