I just experimented in Word 8.0. I am using a Trident video card here at
work with JFW 3.0.26.
With Zoom set to 100 percent, Both Insert+F and the Speak Text Formatting
feature spoke the point sizes corectly. However, with Zoom set to 75
percent, Insert+F still reported correct values, while the Speak Text
Formatting feature reported them as 7, 8, 9 and 10 points, respectively.
