This behavior of saying Link before a link is not new to JFW. It did the
same thing in the reformatted view of a web page in earlier versions. I
wish they had options like IBM Home Pager Reader to play a subtle town or
use a different voice to read the word of the link and perhaps down the
road they will.
One thing you might be able to do is define the word link as a space
character in the dictionary for Internet Explorer. I did this in earlier
versions of the program.
It isn't the best idea but if the program's too chatty for you it is an
option. I occasionally want the links quiet but more often want to hear them.
Hopefully they'll allow more of this to be customized in future versions.
