Walter,

When I've said that I'd like to hear the link in a different voice, I meant 
whatever words were the link text, not the word link.  This means that 
you'd hear the occasional word in a different voice.  What I'd really like 
would be a gentle tone, like an option in IBM's Home Page Reader whenever 
text was a link.
