Hi Deedra,
The drivers that come with the SoundBlaster Live need to be updated. New
drivers can be downloaded from the Creative Labs website. They will greatly
reduce, although not totally eliminate, the stuttering.
I have not had any problem with the speech cutting off. Could be something
other than the sound card in this case.
