Hi,
I saw a few messages this morning suggesting that HJ come up with a method
to provide information more frequently to people on this list and to our
user base in general. Coincidentally, Wilson Craig and I had started
discussing a very similar idea earlier this week. I've enjoyed following
this list and corresponding with many of its members over the past 6 weeks
or so and I hope to continue doing so as we move forward. I agree, however,
that a more formal and periodic statement should also be provided.
The thought we had was to create a TechTalk "column" that I would write on a
frequent basis. We discussed a weekly posting but I think that can be a
goal and we can actually hope for a few times per month. Topics can include
everything from "Customizing JFW" to "Troubleshooting" and a variety of new
and upcoming technologies and techniques.
We will post the items to the HJ web site and to this list as they are
completed.
Please send any ideas you have for topics directly to me at my devmanager
address and I'll try to handle as many as I can.
