Hi Harry

the window update is in the startup menu in windows98 that is for software
updates from microsoft web site.

I loose all speech after a download of software has started.

I have to do a reset after the download has stop in order to get speech
back.

i was told by a hj tech rep that call me back that they know about this bug.

he siad that it is a conflict between the virtual cursor and the windows
update feature/page/site, and the suggestion was to turn the virtual cursor
off while downloading.

I haven't tried the suggestion as yet since i have been back to doing the
windows update as yet.
