What sort of DOS files are they?
if they are only text files then you can use an editor such as note pad or
word pad to read them.
Cheers,
Tim

Subject: DOS files
Hi, all, Here's a question I have been wanting to ask, but didn't want to
sound too stupid. Is there a way to make JAWS read my old DOS files? I have
just recently purchased this new computer with Win 98 and JFW 3.3. I use my
computer for almost all projects around my home that involve reading and
writing, from check book to recipes and phone numbers. I also write
children's stories and other things. I have a ton of DOS files from the old
comppputer which I would like to transfer, but don't want to mess with the
old IBM screen reader. Is there anything I can do, short of spending a lot
more money?
Thanks in advance.
Have a nice day!
