DOS files

Hi, Walter, Thanks much for the info. I wasn't aware that I could get JAWS
for DOS from the website. That sounds like a good idea. My next question is:
Do I have to have a different synthesizer for it?
  I appreciate the help I'm getting from the list. It is great when all
around are "mouse people" and don't know anything about screen readers.
