an interesting question

Hey guys, got something to run by you.
Ya know when you go into my computer, then open another folder?  OK, that's
working fine.  However when i do file close, it closes everything and
doesn't go back just one level.  Like for instance say you go into the
windows folder, and hit file close.  It dumps you out of it completely, and
you have to re-open my computer.  Any ideas on how to fix this problem
would be greatly appreciated.
