List, I am getting a new computer delivered tomorrow morning. One option I
have not selected is a scanner. If I let them know in the morning, I can
have them bring a scanner out and install it at a reasonable price. The two
standard scanners they carry are the Vision air and the Micro Tek scanners.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these and do they work with
JFW? If these are not good choices, what scanner works with JFW? I have a
Kurzweil machine bought in 1990 but it does not work in windows. When I was
using does, I could down load things from the Kurzweil using ProCom Plus,
but Procom does not work with windows, even the windows version which I
bought for this purpose. Kurzweil told me that there are no updates that
will make the older Kurzweil work in windows. thanks for any thoughts. John
