Hello all:
Since installing JFW 3.3135 demo on my system at home, I have been
encountering a strange problem. Irrespective of the cursor position, Jaws
meerly says "Top of window" and "Bottom of window" when the up and down
arrow keys are pressed. It does, however, correctly speak when the focus
is
on Taskbar, Desktop, etc, but does not speak out items listed in Taskbar
or
Desktop. The demo installation further restricts me from working in any
specific application. On typing text in a blank file in MS Word, for
example, Jaws does not read the line but says "blank". This, by the way,
is a fresh installation and not an upgrade from 3.3. Is it likely that
some
crucial 3.3 files are missing here? Since older versions of the demo are
not available on HJ's Web site, I am pretty tied up. If this problem has
been known to occur due to missing 3.3 files, please post a list of files
required.
Any suggestions/workarounds would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
