Hi timothy
I also have a dectalk express and jfw v330 and v331.35 both on a pentium2
windows98 system.
I also encounter the speech stopping from time to time, but it happens when
i press the shift key too fast to skip line by line with no speech, but it
comes back when i press the insert+2 keys for say all on the numeric keypad.
I would suggest a reinstall of the jfw software onto the system without
deinstalling anything and use the driver just after the access32 ones and
com port 1 or at least, this is the best way for me since i had reinstall
the software once by myself and i did it this way after using the second
selection of dectalk express drivers.
I more than likely would need more info on your setup then what you
mentioned in your message so far.
good luck...
