Since I switched to JFW331 I've noticed that with some messages I receive
in HTML format, the windows dialup routine is launched automatically. This
does not happen with all HTML messages but I can't figure out what triggers
it. The mere act of opening the message launches the routine and I am asked
to "enter my password". The real annoying part of this is that it is
practically impossible to get rid of the dialup networking box. <alt-f4>,
<escape>, clicking on the close button, tabbing to the cancel button and
pressing <enter>, all these actions simply kick me back to the password box.
(this is the sort of thing that keeps me from automating the dialup process
completely!) The only way to break out of the mess is to alt-tab to the
message list and deleting the offending message. I can then alt-tab back to
the dialup window and close it.
I don't recall anything like this ever happening with previous versions of
JFW. Has anyone experienced something like this or is this just a personal
demon? In either case, I would love to hear some suggestions of what might
be causing this.
