Hi Barry,
I've had the same trouble with word 97 and jfw 3.31. I've got the Cursor
turned completely off by default and I only turn it on when using Ie. Jaws
still freezes everything up occasionally, but it doesn't seem to happen
nearly as often.

Season's Greetings to all on the list!
I'm having some problems with the latest version of Jaws when using word
97, and when using my A drive. when in Word, all is fine while I'm
writing, deleting, spell checking, and most any other functions. Only
when I go to exit out of word, or try and save the work, my computer
locks up on me. Jaws no longer speaks, and no keys work. I have to
restart the computer. A drive seems to be even worse at this locking up
business. this don't happen each and every time, I would say 8 out of 10
times it will lock up. I know It's Jaws, I have an older version of Jaws
still loaded on my computer, and there's no problem when using it.
Anyone had this problem? Any ideas on what can be happening?
My Computer system is:
gateway computer
133 MHZ Pentium
64 meg of ram
1 gig of hard drive
