the case of the missing serial number

Hi listers.  I was going to download the 3.5 public beta, and my serial
number is not listed.  I did see quite a few of the serial numbers close to
mine, but not mine itself.  Should I download and execute the program
anyway?  Has any of you tried 3.5 yet? thanks in advance
