Hello Dale,
Heres a couple of tips to get you started.
When you first open the sound recorder hit insert and the F-8 key, this is a
jaws feature. This will put all the main controls into a list view.
Play around with it, hit the insert key and the letter H, this will give you
some hot keys to use. Check out the menus, it is always best to learn a
program from the menus first.
You should also know that the sound recorder only records for 1 minute at a
time, then you have to click record again to keep the recording going, this
makes any recording very choppy!
oh yeah, I wouldn't mess around with the sound card programs to much, I got
into some pretty bad trouble that way.
There is a program that comes with Eudora Lite called True Voice, it works
very well with Jaws and it can record for a long time. At least I have not
found a time limit on it yet. You can get Eudora lite for free but I don't
know if you can get True Voice separately .
