RE: fact finding on Kandhamal Violence

senthil - i have personally talked to tribals in Panch mahals area in gujrat 
who informed us that they were told by sangh parivar activists that their 
belief in sthaniya devata is andh vishwas. They were then enrolled in the 
Gayathri Parivar (since they cannot be accepted as caste hindus this is the 
slot in which tribals are parked). Further they said that they only claimed to 
be hindus because they get month long, all expenses paid trips to haridwar etc 
from the parivar. Does this not sound like allurement?
