Dear Kundan,

Thanks for your reply to initiate some discussion. I remember sometime back,
the advocates of secular enthusiasts including Lalu, Mulayam, PM, HM
Shivaraj Patil and the leftists, had gathered to ban Bajrang Dal. The
outcome was that Bajrang Dal wasn't found fit for ban!!!
Now search the reason why they could not ban it. Ayodhya, Gujarat, Kandhamal
and Malegaon are the four major incidents in which the Bajrang Dal members
were involved.
As you know Gujarat riots did not happen all of a sudden. It was the
repercussion of Godhra train carnage. Then Kandhamal was the outcome of the
murder of Swami Lakshmanananda and his four disciples in cold blood. Even
you would have reacted the way Bajrangis did on seeing the body of the
82-year-old lean and thin Swamy who was said to be a 'threat' to Christians.
Come to Malegaon. Were all the blasts taken place in the country done by the
Bajrangis? Before Malegaon, how many blasts the Bajrangis had done? There
cannot be justification to the crime committed by the Bajrangis in Malegaon
case but what the Centre had done so far to ensure the safety of Hindus in
particular to save them from Islamic terrorism? What was Centre's role in
rehabilitating Kashmiri Pandit's in Kashmir? Why in the Shah Bano case the
Congress led government adopted the appeasement policy surpassing the
judiciary? What the Centre has done to ensure handing over three major
shrines- Ayodhya, Krishna Janmabhoomi and Kashi Vishwanath Temple- to
Hindus?
Manoj Padhi had raised an issue some time back saying that why the
Christians do not convert Muslims and why Hindus alone, though many Muslims
are also in a pathetic state in India? The reason is Muslims will hit them
back in a very brutal way. I feel that the attacks on minorities reflect the
sense of insecurity among the majority community.
Secularism is not a one-sided affair. You cannot expect the majority
community to shout the Bhai Bhai' slogan when the minorities are carrying
out serial blasts. A sustained effort must be made by the minorities also to
make the HIndus feel secure in their own country. Blasts and conversion will
only aggravate the problem and will turn the country into a battle field.
