This is with reference to what Nitish Sinha has said. Encouragement is
different from reservation. Reservation spoils people while encouragement shows
the way and help to get into the main stream. I do not think any right thinking
person would object to the help to be given to down trodden to get them to the
mainstream. from then onwards it is one's capability that should take him up.

I think the most important part in your delayed reaction to what I said is that
Dalits cannot do anything. It is this type of racist thinking that ensures that
those who are down remain down and are not allowed come up in life. It is not a
question of whether Brahmins clean their own toilets today. Yes, if you have
not other option you may clean someone else's toilets for a living, to be exact
for sheer survival. The fact is that the Dalits are forced into that by the
social system and the economic need of survival is added to it. Our society
does not give them an option.
