Scrolling on a touch screen is cumbersome, yes, and the "everything
goes into the home menu" approach doesn't help here. On the contrary, we
need more hierarchical menus where each level has only as many entries
as can be displayed on the screen at the same time. But apart from that,
operating the software works surprisingly well for something that
accomodates a touch screen, knobs, buttons, a mouse, and a keyboard all
at the same time.

However, that's not my main concern, but ...

... this is where SqueezePlay totally fails. :( I would return any
device that is so full of bugs. Bear in mind that as a potential buyer I
cannot tell whether a bug is only in the desktop version or in the
actual product, too.

The biggest issues at the moment are that it plays files at the wrong
speed, I cannot synchronize it to any of my other players, and I can
only control it from the web interface because it does not appear in its
own "select player" menu. I really would not want to buy something like
that.
