I would suggest that you restart this thread in the Squeezebox Server
forum or in the Linux forum.  _SqueezeOS_ is the collective name for a
linux operating system and a Lua based application suite that runs on
the Squeezebox Controller and the Squeezebox Touch..i.e. on players,
rather than the server.  I believe that your questions apply to
Squeezebox Server, which is a different kettle of fish.

I think everything you'll need to do will be accomplished in your
router and will be completely transparent to your server.  As far as
security concerns go, I've never attempted this sort of setup myself,
but many others have.  So I'll let wiser heads chime in.
