Yes you can. I access my home sbs using http://myaddress:9000/ To do this you need to get setup your dynamic dns service which you seem to have already. Next you need forward port 9000 on your router to the machine that is running the server. May want to turn on password protection. Are you looking to play music remotely with software? Look on the wiki for "remote streaming". It would involve more port forwarding, selecting a suitable player software and also invoking bit rate limiting. If you are looking to use a hardware player its more complicated... Haven't done this. -- lrossouw Louis 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/lrossouw) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ lrossouw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3416 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76714 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/jive
