Jan, As you know that I have tried several times to add altLoc support into Jmol. You have made a number of suggestions as to how this should be implemented. Nevertheless, I have not been able to understand the problem enough to be able to design a solution that would fit within the Jmol architecture. At some point I hope to get this resolved.
