Mr Abdallah, what I meant in this part was is explained in the example I stated about the conversation between me and my friend in the campus. But let me tell you something else, some people in my university think that a CS or a CIS student must not even dream about getting a job if he doesn't master the C#, language. Some of them, like the friend I've told you about, think that there's no OS on earth can be even close to Windows in strength and security, as if Microsoft is the Lord of technology and nobody at all can compete with them.. Which sounds just like an idolization to Microsoft, whether intentionally or not. I swear to God man, some people around here don't know anything at all but windows, and lots of these people are graduates! Even professors don't know anything but Microsoft!! If you have just ate your lunch and you feel so fed up that your stomach is killing you, just take your time to look at our materials. Poor printing, stupid information, sometimes very bad grammar, some of the pages are stolen from the internet.... and list goes on. They have no single idea what they're teaching us! In a course like Object-Oriented Programming, can you imagine they don't teach us an essential technique like exception handling?? > It is a pity that a computer science student in a Jordanian university is > not exposed to anything but PC platform. Professors of such institutions > must be ashamed of themselves. They are cheating their students because they > are very lazy to say the least. Let me say this in Arabic: "و الله فتحت لي جروحي يا أخ عبد الله حرام عليك!" > OK. ok.. You twisted our arm. We accept. :D No man, nobody even thinks of twisting your arm and lives to tell the tale man! :D > Kewl. We await your plan. Great!, I'll do my best to convince them to accept this, because they have no other issue at all but sucking money, ya know? Can you imagine an IT faculty that works on a bunch of historical PC's, that I bet none of 'em is even pentium 4??? They even refuse to get the license for Adobe Photoshop, why is that? Well, they claim it's too "expensive"... Oh God! >< Can you even imagine a big huge institution that runs an information system that's not even documented?? Yup, that's Yarmouk University! And the stories never end.. If I'm gonna keep telling you about 'em, it would take me centuries from now to finish. Anyhow, thanks a lot for everything. :) > > I think we should add some history lessons to our web site.
