Salam again Ok, I got it working offline after several tries and after checking with Khaled Hosny of Arabeyes.org
sudo aptitude install dictd && wget -c http://temp.syntux.net/dictionary/wordlist.zip && unzip wordlist.zip && sudo cp arabic.dict arabic.index /usr/share/dictd/ && sudo dictd -w && sudo /etc/init.d/dictd restart then run gnome-dictionary and use localhost as dict server instead of dictd.org by the way, this is an English-Arabic dictionary but not Arabic English.
