don't belong in the Personnel Office, right?>>

when I read this, I could not help but be reminded of
a phrase that was central to my feminist politics
courses at York University, a phrase which made so
much sense to me, then and now, a phrase which is
woven in to the very fabric of my life, still...

"the personal is political"

 for some people, the aforementioned phrase has moved
them to effect change not only in their own life, but
in the life of others.

And this loving is a drawing close,
a tuning in, an opening.
Until one perfect moment;
but how can it be expressed?
A receiving, an enfolding
as I cradle you in my arms.
Within my heart, within my soul,
You are my true love.
