I have a memory from very early childhood of a trip my family took to
St. Louis. I remember my grandma was with us and I even remember the
name of the motel we stayed in. Anyway, we were eating in a cafe and
there was a jukebox. 'He's Got the Whole World in His Hands' was a
popular tune at the time & I was just enthralled with it. It played
on this jukebox and I remember standing in front of it and clapping my
hands & singing along. My parents have both told this story at one
time or another so I know I didn't dream it or imagine it. I was
probably only 3 or 4 years old but I remember standing in front of
that jukebox, singing & clapping and I remember the smile on my
grandma's face. She had a wonderful smile that just seemed to light
up her whole face.

'When I was three feet tall, and wide-eyed open to it all....'
