But Michael, with today's technology, I could take Hejira, resequence it to a CD, and call it "Alternative Hejira"! Wouldn't make it a collector's item. (Unless I threw some of these Hejira demos on there!*) ;~) Matter of fact, the European market is having a field day doing exactly that with LOTC...there's one re-organization of the songs called "Ghosts", and the other one (with Joni with Peanut Man face) called "Girls In the Valley" or some such. They're marketed as collector's items and there seems to be a market for them. Now, if you had THE ORIGINAL TAPES that Reprise sent to the Record Plant...well then, you'd have something! And as for me having everything, no way. Matter of fact, I just got a new show about 2 weeks ago, and another new one coming in next week! And another further out on the horizon...Yippee!
